Herman A. Teichert (1887-1982) was a farmer and rancher in Idaho and Wyoming. He was also the husband of painter Minerva Kohlhepp Teichert. Herman Adolph Teichert was born in American Falls, Idaho, on August 26, 1887. In 1917, he was drafted to fight in World War I. Minerva Kohlhepp Teichert (1888-1976) was a Mormon painter and homesteader in Idaho. Minerva Bernetta Kohlhepp was born August 28, 1888, in Ogden, Utah, to Frederick John Kohlhepp and Mary Ella Hickman. She was the second of ten children.
